Who We Are

Central Térmica de Ressano Garcia, S.A. (“CTRG”)

The rationale for the CTRG Project is to use Mozambican natural gas produced from the Pande and Temane gas fields to generate power to provide a stable and competitively priced source of power to meet the increasing electricity demand in Mozambique. All the Project’s power generation capacity is sold to EDM under a long-term power purchase agreement (“PPA”).

Commercial operation of the Project was achieved on 27 February 2015 and since then CTRG has been faithfully providing all its generated power to EDM which supplies the Mozambican market.
