He has 25 years of cumulative working experience, of which 21 years are at the Executive Management Level. He has played various roles in business & leadership development, strategic management, project development, and financial & investment management. Prior to joining CTRG, Towindo held executive management positions at MBC Bank Moçambique, Whatana Investments, Independent Petroleum Terminal, and Algodão de Moçambique Lda.

He holds a Ph.D. in Strategy and Business Development from ZOU University, and an MBA from MANCOSA Business School. He also holds a specialized Post Graduate Qualification in Oil & Gas Management (UPES University), and Post Graduate Advanced Qualification in Industrial Safety-HSE (UPES University). Dr.Towindo is also a Qualified Registered Mozambican Chartered Accountant (OCAM), and also holds CIMA international accounting qualifications.
